"A Carol Closing
Sixty-Nine,"
"To Get the Final Lilt of
Songs," all published first in 1888. In addition
to corrections, Whitman has written a note to the printer at the top of
the page. Also included is an envelope with "printer's proofs, short
poems, Walt Whitman, 1888, (autographic)" written on it.
