Secretary of the Interior.

Sir:

By direction of the Attorney General, I have the honor to transmit you herewith the account, approved by him, & amounting to Five hundred dollars ($500.00) of N. Wilson, as assistant of E. C. Carrington, U. S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, from July 1st 1866, to October 1st, 1866; & to request its payment out of the appropriate fund.
