June 12, 1867. Hon. Geo. S. Hillard, U. S. Attorney, Boston, Mass. Sir: The Attorney General directs me to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 10th inst. relative to the title to land on Long Island, Boston Harbor—& to say, in reply, that the papers are now under investigation.
