January 7, 1867​ . Hon. O. H. Browning, Secretary of the Interior. Sir: I have the honor to transmit herewith the account, approved by me, and amounting to Three hundred and seventy five dollars, ($375:00,) of M. L. Perkins for services as assistant to S. L. Warren, Esq. United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee, for the quarter ending December 31st 1867; and to request its payment out of the appropriate fund. Very Respectfully, &c.
