July 14, 1868. B. H. Smith, Esq. Harper's Ferry, West Va. Sir: In accordance with the suggestion in your letter of the 13th instant, I have this day transmitted to the Clerk of the United States Circuit Court a Parkersburg, West Virginia, a duly certified copy of the "Joint Resolution to provide for the removal of a suit pending in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County, West Virginia, to the Circuit Court of the United States."
