July 18, 1868. John Jay Knox, Esq. Deputy Comptroller of the Currency. Sir: The account of Charles Case, Esq. of New Orleans, Attorney at law, for his services as special counsel of the United States, by assignment and order of the court, with the consent of the Dist.
