November 3, 1869. S. F. Black, Esq. Cincinnati, Ohio. Sir: In reply to your inquiry of the 29th ultimo, I am directed by the Attorney General to say that he has no information in relation to the claim of Lewis M. McCoy for rent and damages, said to be now pending before him. No such claim appears on the files of this office. Very respectfully yours, M. F. Pleasants, Chief Clerk.
