April 4, 1870. John A. Wills, Esq. Washington, D. C. Sir: I desire to retain you in behalf of the United States, as counsel in suit No. 204, John Roland & J. S. Hornsby, appellants, vs. the United States, now pending in the Supreme Court of the United States. I enclose a transcript of record.
