May 5, 1871. Mr. R. T. Gregory, Lumpkin, Stewart Co. Georgia. Sir: In answer to yours of the 27th ultimo, I have to say that no reward has been offered for J. R. Harrell, by this Department—and I am not aware that such reward has been offered by any body. Very respectfully, A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
