June 7, 1869. Hon. J. H. Howe, Chief Justice, &c. Cheyenne, Wyoming Terr. Sir: The Attorney General directs me to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 2d inst. and to say that in accordance with your request, you are hereby granted a leave of absence for two months.
