June 21, 1869. Hon. W. A. Richardson, Acting Secretary of the Treasury. Sir: In compliance with your request of the 19th inst., I have the honor to return herewith the papers which were received here under cover of a letter of the Secretary of the Treasury of the 30th of December last, relating to the case of The United States, vs. Brulatour, et al, and to state that I shall be pleased to have copies of those papers furnished this office by your Department.
