June 29, 1869. Hon. Geo. S. Boutwell, Secretary of the Treasury. Sir: Your letter of the 26th inst., relating to the Internal Revenue case of F. Hogel and Brother, with the papers accompanying it, was received to-day. That firm proposes
to pay, as tax $400:00
assessed penalty 200:00
specific penalty 600:00
$1200:00,
