Sir: The case of the Pacific Steamship Company is now under examination in this office, and an opinion will be rendered in a few days—if possible, before I start for Georgia, which will be in a day or two. If not, immediately upon my return. Very respectfully, &c. A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
