Nov. 10, 1871. P. R. Carll, Esq. U.S. Marshal, New Haven, Conn. Sir: The Hon. U.S. District Judge, W. D. Shipman, under date of 8th instant, desires that "eleven (11) volumes of Peters' Reports, and seventeen (17) volumes of Howard's Reports" should be re-bound at a cost of $1 50/100 per volume; and in compliance with his request, you will have the work done, and present the bill, in proper form, for payment, to this Department.
