Your letter of the 9th ins't. against M. Coombs, Jr. Claim Agent, for alleged withholding of bounty money belonging to W. H. Cloudman, late a Federal soldier, has been received.

Your explanation of the disposition of that case, is entirely satisfactory to this Department.
