Nov. 3, 1871. V.A. Witcher, Esq. Salt Lake City, Utah. Sir: I am directed by the Attorney General to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 26th ult., and to inform you that this Department has no copies of the opinion to which you refer, for distribution.
