Sir:

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 18th inst. and to inform you that in pursuance of your request, the U.S. Attorney for Indiana has been directed to institute proper proceedings against R. B. Houpt, and Adam Sohn, for their delinquency as bidders for work and material for a warehouse at Jeffersonville.
