| Still on our own campaigning bound, |
| Through untried roads with ambushes opponents lined, |
| Through many a sharp defeat and many a crisis, often baffled, |
| Here marching, ever marching on, a war fight out—aye here, |
| To fiercer, weightier battles give expression. |
