Are you well enough my dear brother for me to send you my love and tell you I am so glad and happy—for I know you are gaining

That was a wonderful welcome [card?] Walt dear—You wont have to write to me again dearest brother, till you get stronger.—I dont feel uneasy.—I know you are getting better and I am oh so thankful
