D.M. Zimmerman,
Secretary and Treasurer

Walt Whitman Esq
Dear Sir

I would like to have a little article on Lake Side Park (at Kirkwood) for publication over your name, if you do not object. The enclosed by yourself is good, and if it was in mss I could get it published in one of the Philada Papers; & others would copy. We also propose to collect such articles and have printed in circular form.

I hope I do not ask you to take too much trouble

Yours truly
DM Zimmerman
