On my return to New York agreeable to promise I beg to forward you the Catalogue spoken of & hope its perusal will afford pleasure1

Mssrs Bangs & Co have lately sold about ⅓ of Autograph & Manuscript poems belonging to estate of Lewis J. Cist Esq—3000 lots in catalogue of nearly 300 pages, if Mr Whitman would like to look it over will be pleased to forward it when fully priced.
