Intensely hot. W. weathers quite well. Experiences discomfort, but no other sign. Longaker over—saying after to me, "I see no change in him—he may feel the hot weather, but his general health is the same." Longaker has quite a batch of W.'s daily memoranda, kept and given him on his earlier visits. I think takes some pride out of the possession. Walk with Anne and Longaker to the park—sun blazing, pilgrims many—up to the dairy. Longaker's confidence in W.'s condition assuring.
