Sir:
Yours of the 25th instant is received. In reply to which I am directed by the Attorney General to say that the gentlemen employed in his office are constantly engaged in the discharge of their respective duties and have not the time to make out copies of the opinion you called for. Important opinions are usually printed, but we have no copies of the opinion you called for.
