Jan. 8, 1867. John G. Crocker, Esq. Utica, N. Y. Sir: The Assistant Attorney Gen'l. directs me to say, in reply to yours of the 2d inst. that in the case of Hughs vs. The United States, judgment has been affirmed & the mandate will contain that order.
