June 26, 1868. J. H. Estabrook & J. E. Bates, Esq's. Denver, Colorado Terr. Gentlemen: The Attorney General adinterim directs me to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 8th instant, containing charges of official misconduct on the part of the United States Attorney for Colorado Territory. A copy of your letter has been forwarded to that officer, with instructions to make an early report thereon. Very respectfully, M. F. Pleasants, Chief Clerk.
