Sir: I am directed by the President to request you to issue a Commission appointing Jonas Leeley to the office of Attorney of the United States for the District of Nevada, agreeably to the enclosed resolution of the Senate. I am very respectfully, your ob't serv't, A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
