Sir:
This Department has received your letter of the 18th instant, enclosing receipted
account, amounting to $325, for services rendered, and expenses incurred under the
direction of the Attorney General.
I transmit herewith a draft on
New York for the
amount of your account, and request that you will be pleased to acknowledge its
receipt.
