☞Statistics show, that the healthiest ordinary occupation is that of a farmer; next in order come shoemakers, weavers, grocers, blacksmiths, carpenters, tailors, laborers, miners, bakers, butchers, liquor-dealers. The high rate of mortality among butchers and liquor-dealers is a proof presumptive in favor of vegetarianism and teetotalism.
