"A BEAUTIFUL HEAD OF RICH GLOSSY HAIR," is what the puffs and advertisements promise, to the purchasers of various washes and preparations. Doubtful! It is more than likely—it is quite certain—that nearly all such strong liquids used upon the hair, do more hurt than good. An occasional wash with soft and tepid water, is all the cleansing needed. In addition to that, a good daily brushing and combing are a great help to the health and vigorous growth of the hair.
