More Trouble about Sunday.

We see that there is likely to be more embittered action and feeling about the observance of Sunday, through arrests, fines, imprisonments, &c. At the last meeting of the Metropolitan Police Commissioners, the following resolution was adopted:

Resolved, That the General Superintendent be directed to report to this Board, at its next meeting, the number of arrests and complaints which have been made in the Cities of New York and Brooklyn under his order, directed to be issued by resolution of 23d February, for violations of the laws of the State and the ordinances of the Corporation of New York, in respect to the observance of Sunday, stating the causes of arrests and the nature of the complaints, and the precincts in which such arrests and complaints have been made.

We have heard that this is preparatory to another more determined and general foray, by the directors of the Police, toward the compulsory outward observance of the Sabbath. The members of the Sabbatarian Association are urging the authorities on.
