Hon. O. H. Browning,

Secretary of the Interior.

Sir:

I am directed by the Attorney General to transmit you the account, by him approved, and amounting to the sum of Three hundred and seventy five dollars ($375,) of Gabriel C. Wharton, assistant Dist. Attorney for the Dist. of Kentucky, for services rendered for the quarter ending Sept. 30 1866; & to request its payment out of the appropriate fund.
