Sir:

I have the honor to request that you will issue a warrant on the Treasurer of the U. S. in favor of S. M. McKean, Esq. Disbursing Clerk, Treasury Dep't. for the sum of One Thousand nine hundred and eighty-eight dollars, and thirty eight cents, ($1,988:38) and charge the same to the appropriations indicated below.
