U. S. Attorney, Potsdam, N. Y.

Sir:

I send you herewith a copy of a dispatch from Capt. Bryson, of the U. S.S. Michigan, to the Navy Department, relative to certain "Fenian" arms, in his custody. Capt. Bryson has been instructed to deliver them to such person as may present an order from yourself for them.

You will make the same disposition of these arms as was indicated to you, in a former case, in my letter of the 26th ult.
