Oct. 30, 1866. To R. H. Man, Esq. Dear Sir: Yours of the 25th was rec'd to-day. I have the pleasure to inform you that I brought the case of your friend Hatcher to the notice of the President to-day, & that he gave a favorable response to my recommendation for a pardon. When it is made out, it will be sent to him at Memphis, Tenn. Very respectfully, Henry Stanbery
