Sir:
Your letter of June 7th has been received at this office. In reply, I have to say that the Attorney General, from imperative necessity, begs to be excused from giving opinions upon special disfranchisement cases.
Doubtless, in the general instructions, when published, you will find your case comprehended, & your letter substantially answered.
