Wm. Price, Esq.   Baltimore, Md.

Sir:

The Attorney General has received your letter of the 20th inst. relative to your account for services in the case of R. S. Waters, late a deputy provost marshal in the 4th District of Maryland, sued for alleged false imprisonment, &c.

As those services were directed at the request of the Secretary of War, your account should be transmitted to the War Department.
