I have the honor to transmit herewith the account, approved by me, & amounting to Thirty five hundred Dollars ($3500:00,) of Alfred Russell, Esq. for legal services in the Spreme Court of the U. S., in the case of U. S., vs. Le Gardeur de Repentigny, et. al.; and to request its payment out of the appropriate fund.
