Sir:
I am directed by the Attorney General to say, in reply to yours of the 23d inst. that upon the day of the date of your letter, U. S. Attorney Rosette was directed by this Office to dismiss the libel in the case of the United States, vs. 1756 shares of the Great Western Railroad, belonging to Le Roy M. Wiley, upon the payment of the costs.
