Secretary of the Treasury.

Sir:

I have the honor to request that you will issue a warrant on the Treasurer of the United States in favor of S. M. McKean, Esq. Disbursing Clerk, Treasury Department, for the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500:00,) and charge the same to the appropriation for Law and other necessary Books for this office.
