Hon. John R. Peters,

House of Representatives.

Sir: The Attorney General directs me to say that he is unable to give you any information relative to the case of Charle Weston. No such case has been referred to him either by the President or the Head of any Department. Mr. Weston's letter and its enclosure are herewith returned.
