January 11, 1868. Hon. O. H. Browning, Secretary of the Interior. Sir: I have the honor to transmit herewith the account, approved by me, and amounting to Three hundred dollars, ($300:) of J. A.L. McClure, for services as assistant to A. S. Ridgely, Esq. United States Attorney for the District of Maryland for the quarter ending December 31st, 1867; and to request its payment from the appropriate fund.
