Gentlemen:

A copy of your communication of the 14th ultimo has been transmitted to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana—and also a copy of the petition of John Ebner for a pardon, and a copy of the Report of the pardon clerk of this office to the Att'y Gen'l. with instructions to report thereon.
