The Honorable

The Secretary of the Interior.

Sir:

I have the honor to transmit herewith the account, approved by me, and amounting to Five Hundred Dollars, ($500:) of T. Hennessey, for legal services as assistant to L. H. Chandler, Esq. United States Attorney for the District of Virginia, for the quarter ending March 31st, 1868, and to request its payment from the appropriate fund.
