June 23, 1868.
Hon. O. H. Browning,
Secretary of the Interior.
Sir:
I have the honor to transmit for your consideration, the accompanying letter from B. B. Andrews, Esq. relative to his appointment by the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, as a substitute for the latter, who, it seems, left the District "for his home in Indiana," some time in April last, and was still absent at the date of said letter. Mr. Andrews will be advised of this reference.
I am, sir, very respectfully,
Your obedient servant,
John M. Binckley,
Assistant Attorney Gen'l.
