Present.

Sir:

In compliance with your request on behalf of the party, and of other gentlemen who have recommended him to favor, I have consented to suspend the case of Christian Priesendantz for a few days—but enclose for your information a copy of my letter of this date to Mr. Ellmaker, the United States Marshal.
