November 2, 1868. S. C. Sprague, Clerk of the U. S. District Court, Boston, Mass. Sir: I am obliged to you for your letter of the 26th ultimo, relating to the opinions of the Court in the cases of the "Georgia" and the "Syren". If any printed briefs were filed in those cases, by the United States or the claimants, I should be glad if you would send copies to this office. Very respectfully, your obedient serv't, J.
