Sir:
I have the honor to request that you will issue a warrant on the Treasurer of the United States in favor of Bushrod Birch, Esq. disbursing clerk, Treasury Department, for the sum of Five thousand three hundred and eighty three dollars, and ninety three cents, ($5,383:93,) and charge the same to the appropriations indicated below.
