Secretary of the Interior.

Sir:

I have the honor to transmit herewith the account, approved by me, and amounting to Five hundred dollars, ($500:) of W. D. Booth, Esq. for legal services as Special Counsel in the cases of the United States vs. T. A. Morris, late pending in the United States Dist. Court for the District of Maryland; and to request its payment from the appropriate fund.
