Sir:
The Union Pacific Railroad Company herewith deposits with the Government of the United States, in the Treasury Department thereof, first mortgage Bonds of the said Company numbered from to both inclusive, in conformity to, and in pursuance of, the declaration & agreement of the Company bearing date the day of February, in the year Eighteen hundred and sixty nine—such bonds of the said Company, now so deposited with the Treasury Department of the United States to be held by the Government of the United States according to the terms of the said declaration and agreement, and for the purposes of the same.
