Sir:

I have the honor to transmit herewith a copy of a letter dated May 1st, from A. J. Herr, Esq. of Harrisburg, Pa, relative to the case of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania vs. Serg't. C. W. Frazer, charged with kidnapping & conspiracy—in which Mr. Herr was employed in accordance with your request of the 20th ult.
